De Stilts
The facade of the walls is carved in the style of De Stijl. The different square boxes also are also manipulated to give them a purpose for people to use.
Concept
The project's aim is to provide a space that allows young local home-based business owners to set up their own boof for a brief period of time to promote their store and gain public awareness of their good cause. This will encourage the owners and give support to each other.
Concept following the Art movement, De Stijl, I wanted the space to have a take on a modern look since the founders' intention of this art movement uses the art principles of unity and harmony. This is what I wanted my space to promote among the community to unite the people and give each other support.
